So just how significantly does my position have to change in order for it to update, next room next street or next town? Also, Jacob had a good question, how does it know I have moved if it doesn’t update my location. I noticed that I don’t have the option to “push” a location update anymore. Will that feature be coming back? One more thing, is this the reason why I no longer have the ability to adjust my update frequency? seems that if it only updates when you move a lot you wouldn’t need to change any settings. I have no problem running other GPS apps so I guess the icon always on the screen is no big deal but I’m not sure I want a tech sazzy would be theif knowing that something is using my GPS. As long as it updates like it is supposed to and can find my phone I can’t complain for a free service. These are more questions than complaints.

second thought: on my nokia i had a background-application that recorded gsm-cell-ids to a text-log. after converting the cell-ids to gps-data i had a rough tracking log of my where-abouts. as an extra it would be great if cerebro could write a simple text log of all recorded locations. format suggestion: timestamp – tab – latitude,longitude.
not every one has a data plan.

hi, i installed cerebro 1.1 from cydia and it reports fine back to findmyiphone.com. i installed jacob strandliens tracking-script to handle locations on my own server but to no avail: locations only get updated on findmyiphone. mh.
using iphone 2g with 3.13,

Hello …

I’v got a 3Gs old bootrom with IOS4.1 with Cerebro v1.1 installed and i still encounter the “NOK: cannot connect error” as i try to send an SMS from the website, and my phone is still localized in the Atlantic ocean near by Africa (cerebro process is up and running on my phone) … It is normal ?

I get bad username or password under the iphone, while when I log to the website there’s no error. What’s the problem?
The faq available on the iphone can’t be selected so I can’t see any info or help
Anyone with the same problem that has been fixed? (3GS IOS 4.1)

Hi, first of all thank you for the great initiative.

I’d like to report the sonar issue in my iphone 4 running cerebro 2. The app is in a folder and the sonar plays only when I open the app.
